Unity Day 2025

Unity Day 2025 | We are Stronger Together 🧡

October 22, 2025

Each October, schools across the nation recognize National Bullying Prevention Month – a time dedicated to creating safer, more supportive environments for every student.

At SSC, we are honored to stand alongside the communities we serve, championing efforts that promote respect, empathy, and belonging. One of the most meaningful ways we demonstrate this commitment is through Unity Day, held annually in October. On this day, schools are filled with bright orange – shirts, signs, and smiles – representing a unified stand for kindness and acceptance.

Since its founding in 2011, Unity Day has grown into a nationwide movement led by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, reminding students everywhere that they are never alone.

Stronger Together: A Shared Commitment

On October 22, 2025, SSC associates came together with their school communities to celebrate Unity Day for the fourth consecutive year.

More than 1,300 team members joined in by wearing orange, signing pledge cards, raising awareness with posters, and showing what unity looks like in action.

Across classrooms, cafeterias, and hallways, their participation shared one clear message: every student deserves to be welcomed, valued, and empowered to be themselves.

It’s not just on Unity Day, but every day, that our teams carry the Unity Day mission forward. Whether through a kind gesture or exceptional care at their schools, they’re planting the message of kindness in every corner of their communities.

Creating Environments Where Students Can Thrive

When we lead with purpose, we help create spaces where students can grow – not just academically, but as individuals:

“At SSC, our purpose has always been bigger than the work we do. Every hallway we clean, every classroom we care for, every space we maintain, it all supports one shared goal: helping students thrive. When we lead with kindness, inclusion, and respect, we create schools where every student feels they belong and that’s where success begins.”
