Facilitating Opportunities for Continuing Education

At SSC Services for Education, we strive to create a culture that encourages and provides opportunities for continuing education. SSC offers several scholarships annually that are open to the community to promote these opportunities. These scholarships support students seeking degrees and advanced degrees and working professionals eager to grow in their field through professional training.

We understand the value of higher education in creating effective and impactful leaders. Providing scholarships that increase access to education is just one way SSC supports our people and the communities we serve.

SSC Leadership in Law Enforcement Scholarship

Since the inception of SSC, just over 50 years ago, the culture of fostering education and training has been at the foundation of our success.

As our leadership team monitored the unrest in June of 2020 and discussed how we could most directly impact the communities in which we work, from students and parents to educators and administrators, we kept coming back to our heritage of education and training. Going forward, SSC Services for Education will be funding four annual $2,500 scholarships that facilitate education or training for minorities in their career ascension to command or leadership positions within law enforcement.

Applications for the 2022 Leadership in Law Enforcement Scholarships are now closed. Check back for details on next year’s applications.
