Aqueous Ozone Technology: Sustainable, Chemical-Free Cleaning

July 11, 2019

We are doing our part to ensure a healthy planet and provide green schools for generations of students to come. With our impact on local and global environments in focus, our team puts their experience and knowledge to work to seek out the best, most sustainable cleaning methods for your campus.

One of our approaches is utilizing CleanCore’s Aqueous Ozone (AO) technology, the most effective, natural cleaning and deodorizing solution for all-surface cleaning. AO combines plain tap water, oxygen, and electricity into an easy-to-use, no-rinse application to quickly clean surfaces and remove odors.

Step 1:

Ozone molecules (O3) are diffused into the water.

Step 2:

The extra oxygen atom from the ozone molecule attacks and destroys contaminants.

Step 3:

After direct oxidation and destruction of the cell, only oxygen (o2)  and water (h2o) are left behind.

Macro/Microbubbles vs Nanobubbles

The nanobubbles produced by AO technology provide thorough surface coverage, surpassing the microbubble surface coverage generated by harsh chemicals.

Simply put, by eliminating the use of harsh chemicals, this cleaning solution delivers a simpler, healthier and more sustainable way to clean and sanitize all hard surfaces and equipment.

Will we still have a chemical smell on campus after cleaning?

As you begin to walk campus, you may notice a significant reduction in the harsh, artificial smells created by chemical products. It’s important to remember that your campus is cleaner than ever, even without artificial fragrance present. AO Technology eliminates bacterial odors that are present after traditional cleaning- no need to mask with additional fragrance.
